ABOUT

Stephen Sawchuk is an award-winning Writer/Director/Producer based in Vancouver, British Columbia. With over 15 years of experience under his belt, he has produced well over 120 hours of film & television, including projects for Apple TV, MGM+, Hulu, Crave, Peacock, HGTV, CBC, The CW, and Lifetime amongst many others. He has worked on productions of all scopes and scales across the globe including independent films, reality television, documentaries, TV movies, factual programming, web content, print & television ad campaigns and everything in between.

 

Most recently, Stephen Execuitve Produced the hit CBC series 'The Assembly' (based on the French series 'Les Recontre du Papotin') featuring Howie Mandel, Russell Peters, Jann Arden and Maitreyi Ramakrishnan.​ Other select notable credits include 'BRATS' (Disney/Hulu), 'Sidney' (Apple TV+), 'Women Who Rock' (MGM+/Crave), 'Sly Lives!' (Disney/Hulu), 'I Am Luke Perry' (The CW), 'Love it or List it Vancouver' (HGTV), 'Love it or List it Vacation Homes' (HGTV), 'Jillian & Justin' (W Network), 'The Bachelor Canada' (Rogers), and his award-winning short film 'Hell Is A Teenage Girl', which made its Canadian premiere at the renowned Fantasia International Film Festival in 2024, and spawned the development of a feature-length adaptation.​
